The Prism system is used as a communication tool between trainer and owners where updates can be sent instantly including photo's, video, pre and post race updates.
Michael often purchases horses that he wants to train and for those that are interested in being part of the experience with him be sure to give him a call or send a message. When getting involved in a horse with MTR that Michael has purchased, they are trained on a set rate so that owners know exactly what to expect each invoice.
Fixed ongoings
- For 2.5% interest in any of our horses you can expect to pay $21 (plus GST ) a week ( $46.20 a fortnight)
- For 5% interest in any of our horses you can expect to pay $42 (plus GST ) a week ( $92.40 a fortnight)
- For 10% interest in any of our horses you can expect to pay $84 ( plus GST ) a week ( $184.80 a fortnight)
- For 100% interest in any of out horses you can expect to pay $840 ( plus GST ) a week ($1848.00 a fortnight )
Invoices are sent fortnightly
These are fixed ongoing costs with NO extras except for Veterinary call outs and associated costs, surgeries or feature race nominations. Horses that are sent for long spells in the paddock will have their invoice adjusted to reflect the lower costs.
Of late Michael has used a working holiday approach to giving horses are break from the rigors of stable training where they are sent away for up to three weeks at a local spelling establishment that also offers the use of a water walker. This is used to keep horses up to the mark and help keep residual fitness so the horses have a break but can also return to the races quicker.
*Owners are not credited the starters subsidy this is calculated into use for race day costs
